Casa Raia stands on a promontory on the south-western slopes of the medieval village of Montalcino, Tuscany. The estate is located directly below the ancient city walls, immersed in a unique natural setting. This is the where wines originate, as productions that tell the story of the territory with authenticity, craftsmanship and respect for the land. Founded in 2006 by Pierre Jean Monnoyer, Casa Raia is now an organically-run winery producing Brunello, Rosso di Montalcino and an IGT Toscana, as living and genuine expressions of the Val d’Orcia.
